How was Beano played?
The Beano is the version of the origins of bingo that was played where a caller in the stage will draw certain discs that have been numbered and as he picks up a disk and calls out the number to the players who are waiting eagerly. The players will be having a game card along with dried beans and numbered squares. The player should cover the number that is in the card which has been called out by the caller. The player who will first have one set of numbers in a row covered entirely with beans was considered as the winner.

Edwin Lowe who was intensely excited with the game made few refreshing changes along with his math tutor friend Carl Leffer in this Beano and renamed it as the all new BINGO. Thus the origins of bingo started exploring the whole universe with its huge success.
